The midweek Bees side will play their first game on Monday (6th Septempber) against local rivals Moseley at Sharmans Cross Road.

 Pertemps Bees will launch their new midweek side with a friendly against city rivals Moseley at Sharmans Cross Road on Monday September 6 (6pm kick-off).
The side has been formed to give players who are not in the squad for the previous Saturday's National One game plus triallists an opportunity to impress and to keep match fit.
Prop Rob Sigley is working on a fixture list for the season which is likely to include matches against Oxford University, Cambridge University and the three armed services. All games will be played as first team fixtures.
"We see the formation of this side as an important step in our development," said Phil Maynard, Pertemps Bees' director of rugby. "We will use them as opportunities to give meaningful rugby to the squad, to have a look at some of the talent that is emerging in the region and to have a look at some of the players that we have on trial who have not had much match time at the moment."
