Pertemps Bees are hopeful a number of players will be returning to action for this Saturdays clash against second place Exeter Chiefs.
Bees centre Mike Davies suffered mild concussion during last Saturdays magnificent cup win against local rivals Coventry. Davies had to come off at half time during the Powergen Cup round five game after having a bang on the head but The Bees are optimistic that he will be given the all-clear and pass a precautionary medical during the week allowing him to return to the starting line up when the Bees meet Exeter at Sharmans Cross Road on Saturday (2pm). The Bees may also see the return of lock Rob Walton who has missed to games after suffering a neck injury. Walton was hoping to return for the Coventry game but failed a late fitness test before match selection. Jim Jenner is also hoping to be back in action this week after not playing since last months league win over Plymouth Albion. The number eight has been unable to play due to disc problems in his neck. After light training last week, Jenner will be looking to resume full contact training this week and will hopefully get the ok after Thursdays training session.
