Pertemps Bees have seven players in the Major Stanley's XV for the annual showpiece fixture against Oxford University at Iffley Road on Wednesday November 16 (7pm).
Brothers Paul and Dave Knight have both been selected along with hooker Ben Gerry and flanker Guillaume Scheuller. The fifth Pertemps Bees player is winger Roman Piotrowski who is currently on loan at Stourbridge, and two more Pertemps Bees players were added to the Major Stanley's XV squad.
Number eight Jim Jenner has been brought into the invitation team's starting line-up and centre Adam Billig has been called up asa replacement.
The Stanley's XV will be coached by Phil Maynard, Pertemps Bees director of rugby, the third consecutive season that he has been in charge of the invitation XV.
The Stanley's game is Oxford's last major fixture before the Varsity Match, which will be played at Twickenham on December 6, and usually offers a stern test for the students ahead of the big game.
Last season the Stanley's XV edged victory with Paul Knight playing an important part in their second half fightback.
The Stanley's side is selected by members of the Public School Wanderers who undertake regular tours to outposts of the rugby-playing world. Last summer they toured Sri Lanka with a squad that included Pertemps Bees winger Nick Baxter and number eight Jim Jenner.
Maynard is one of the candidates to coach the Public School Wanderers on next summer's trip to Canada.
