Pertemps Bees hoped to have two new players with international experience in their side when they return to National League One duty against Cornish Pirates at Kenwyn in Truro on Sunday March 5. Former England prop Rob Hardwick completed his move from London Irish on a short-term contract last week and will be available to make his debut this weekend.
Hardwick, 36, won his only England cap as a replacement against Italy in 1996 while he was with Coventry and has since had two spells in the Premiership with Irish, helping them to win the Powergen Cup in 2000, and a season in France with La Rochelle.

Pertemps Bees' hopes of recruiting current Fiji international lock Isoa Damolailai have been frustrated by bureaucratic red tape.
The 25-year-old forward had agreed terms with Pertemps Bees and all the necessary paperwork had been sent to him Fiji by express courier.
But Damolailai was unable to complete the first leg of his journey from Suva to Australia after the carrier airline claimed that he was not in possession of the necessary visa.
Damolailai cannot now arrive in England before the transfer deadline of midnight tomorrow (February 28) so his planned move to Pertemps Bees is off.
Damolailai has won eight caps for his country, the most recent against Wales in Cardiff last November, and he has also played provincial rugby for Northland in New Zealand.
