I agree with The Boss 'Anco.' 2010 was a fantastic year for Chelsea Football Club. Premier League winners, FA Cup Winners (retaining the trophy) which equals DOUBLE WINNERS. OK the last few weeks and haven't been so good, but the turnaround started with a hard-fought win against Bolton in midweek and we look to continue the revival against Villa this afternoon at The Bridge.

Carlo has been good. He has been through some really bad media hell recently (which is typical of our press and especially the fact they despise Chelsea so much). He has been cool, retained his dignity and in his pre-match conference he lauded his acheivements in his first season as THE BOSS.

He said, "It was a fantastic year, we will have good memories about this year. Obviously to win the Premier League and FA Cup double for the first time was fantastic.

"We didn't finish well this year, it was good to win but for weeks it was very difficult.. Now we hope that moment is finished and have to look forward with confidence.

"Every year there are difficult moments, this is too long. We had a lot of problems, injuries, and we were not able to move quickly. Now I am not sure that we moved on but it is a good step."

Jeffrey Bruma replaces Ivanovic in defence after his booking in midweek (a booking that made no sense to me, considering some of the Bolton challenges) and MIkel is out for about four weeks after injuring his knee against Woolwich.

Danny Sturridge who has been missing with a knee injury is back in training and Villa welcome back Heskey and Ashley Young.

'Anco,' has no worries about Bruma starting.

He said, "He is a young player who is a very good defender. He has a lot of ability, he has played some games and in this time he is improving. He works very closely with John Terry, Ivanovic and Alex and it is the time to put him in. I am sure that he will do his best."

Pleased for Bruma who deserves a start - and even if he does make the odd mistake in this game there´s no way the confidence of these youngsters will improve if Anco doesn´t stick with them a bit. Certainly worth giving him the nod over Ferreira in the CB position.

Surprised that Kakuta isn´t on the bench - does he have a knock?

Villa are pretty much in turmoil - they´ll either be in disarray on the pitch or really determined.

We do need not just a win - but a convincing win to really build on that 2nd half v Bolton.
