Next up for the Warrington Wolves is a short trip to our neighbours St. Helens in Round 6 of the First Utility Super League on Thursday 19th March 2015, KO 8pm.

Current champions St. Helens have started the 2015 First Utility Super League in great form with 5 victories from as many games and will look to record a first victory over the Wolves at Langtree Park. Warrington go into the game on the back of a well earned 18-6 home success over Leeds Rhinos a result that seen the Wolves draw level with the Rhinos on joint 2nd in the ladder just behind the Saints.

In 2014 the Wolves recorded 2 victories over the Saints winning at Magic Weekend in Manchester for the second successive season and also winning the away fixture at Langtree Park which ment the Saints had to win the final league game of 2014 to be sure of winning the League Leaders Shield ahead of Castleford Tigers.

In the Super League era the Saints have held the upper hand on meetings with the Wolves but since 2009 its has been pretty much even and the fixtures always create lots of tries and points and this Thursday will no doubt produce the same.

Last time out the Saints struggled to a 30-20 victory away to Widnes Vikings but will look to iron out the mistakes and missed tackles and be ready for the Wolves.
