Top 3 hopefuls Warrington Wolves face local rivals Salford City Reds in Round 26 at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on sunday.

Warrington Wolves will be looking to move a step closer to a 3rd place finish on Sunday with a victory over struggling Salford City Reds.

However, Warrington duo Dean Gaskell and Mike Wainwright have both failed to regain match fitness and will be the major doubts for the home side. Also out for the Wolves is former 2003 player of the year Graham Appo, who has been de-registered in order to allow new on-loan signing Andrew Johns available for selection for the Wolves crucial home clash with champions Leeds saturday week.

Last time the sides met, Warrington avenged their 10-42 defeat at The Willows on Good Friday with an empthatic 48-14 victory in round 18 at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, in which forward Ben Westwood crossed for a hat-trick of tries in the Wolves romp.
