Warrington Wolves have released full back Daryll Cardiss following an injury hit spell at the club.
Former Wigan and Halifax full-back Darryl Cardiss has become the third player to be released by the Wolves.
The 28-year-old Cardiss, who joined Warrington from Halifax RLFC two years ago, made 21 appearances last year but missed the start of this season through injury and has not made a single first-team appearance in 2005.
“He’s been fit to play since May,” said the player’s agent Richard Cramer. “There is a lot of rugby left in him and he’s keen to carry on in Super League.”
Reports suggest that Cardiss set to join Wakefield Trinity intime for 2006.
Warrington have also released Australian utility back Graham Appo and winger Dean Gaskell whilst bringing in Paul Rauhihi, Michael Sullivan, Richie Barnett and Stuart Reardon into a re-shaped squad for 2006.
