Warrington Wolves v Salford City Reds

Warrington Wolves face suprise package Salford, looking to gain revenge for the 6-24 home loss to Salford in round one this season. Salford currently sit in 3rd position in the table following 6 wins out of there 8 opening matches including victories against Catalan both at home and away, Huddersfield and Wakefield at the Willows. Salford are also into the 5th round of the Powergen Cup following a 32-4 home victory over NL2 side Dewsbury Rams.

Warrington go into the match on the back of 2 successive league wins against Bradford Bulls and Wakefield Wildcats and a win for the Wolves would see them close the gap on Salford to 2 points in the battle for the top 4.

Warrington start the match as slight favourates ahead of Salford, but Salford will no doubt be full of confidence following there impressive start to the season, and their first win at The Halliwell Jones Stadium in the Super League.

This time last year, Warrington travelled to The Willows to face Salford and the Wolves were hammered by 42-10, and many Warrington fans actually called this day "Bad Friday" following the loss, but the Warrington fans will be hoping that come 4.35 on Friday, Good Friday will be back in Warrington.
