New season and new sponsor for the Prem but not a lot new in the way of players for the Chiefs.  If you count Santiago Cordero then just two signings from Rob Baxter with Alex Cuthbert being the other one.  Not only this but Rob has stated he is happy with the squad going into the new season and will trust them to do the job.  Quite a contrast with many other sides who have been recruiting heavily.  So what will prove to be the winning formula, tried and tested or new blood?  It's going to be fascinating to see.

Chiefs kick off the season with a home game for what seems like the first time in years.  This is against Tigers on September 1st and the following matches have been announced as being televised live by BT Sport.

On BT Sport

Sep 1st: Leicester (H)
Sep 8th: Wasps (A)
Sep 21st: Newcastle (A)
Oct 5th: Bath (A)
Nov 18th: Bristol (A)
Nov 30th: Harlequins (A)

Tough start, two strong contenders for top four, feel Tigers will be more of a threat than Wasps next season. Could be proved wrong but Wasps just didn't have it when Cips didn't play.

A cracking first game, a real tester against good strong Tigers, get passed this one and it gives a good indication where we are. Tigers are top four next season imho.

Home game to start and end with, and a home game at Christmas. Can't be bad
