Marshall Gets The First

Our European campaign is finally up and running after a thrilling bonus point win against a very competitive Connacht .. now we need to do the same at their place next week. The 26-17 win moved us up to second with Toulouse beating Montepellier but we can't afford any more slip-ups.

It was a nip and tuck game with Tom  Marshall getting the first with a great solo run.

Connacht sneaked ahead with a smart finish (was it a forward pass?) from John Porch and a Carty penalty.

Jake Polledri scores their third try during the Heineken European Champions Cup pool fi

For once we capitalized when the opposition were down to 14 with Tom again crossing followed by an intelligent finish from Jake Polledri (above).

Quinn Roux scored a late try for Connacht but there wasn't time for us to panic.
