Wasps supporters have successfully completed a crowdfunding campaign to erect up a Wasps billboard in Leicester to advertise the Coventry-based team.

In January, Leicester Tigers attempted to gate-crash the Ricoh move by put a cheeky advertising billboard poster just metres away from the Wasps’ new home declaring: 'On your doorstep since 1880'.

Wasps fan Edward Marno thought this was a 'bit out of order' and set about raising money to get a rival home-made advert up in Leicester with a target of £800 in just four days.
