...can secure play-off spot
Wasps full-back Rob Miller believes the Ricoh Arena is fast becoming a fortress after their Coventry honeymoon continued apace with victory over Harlequins on Sunday.
Tom Varndell, Elliot Daly and two penalty tries earned Wasps a 37-6 bonus point victory in front of more than 16,000 fans, which leaves them in fourth in the Aviva Premiership Rugby table.
Indeed since moving to the Ricoh in December Wasps have been unstoppable at home in Aviva Premiership Rugby, recording three bonus-point victories, scoring 126 points and conceding 38 in the process.
A return to the play-offs is looking more likely by the week and with only five points separating third from eighth, Miller admits Wasps will take any win that comes their way.
“It was really pleasing to win against Quins because it’s normally such a tight game when we play them,” he said.
“It was really important to get the victory because if you win one game you stay in the top four but if you lose by a fair few points you can drop all the way down towards the bottom.
“They are in a very similar position to us in that we are in that block of teams in the mid-table so it was vital we got the win.
