We can expect to see more of this.

Wasps against Leicester has previously been one of the showpiece games in English Rugby Union. A game that in history resonates as a match between the big hitters in the sport.

Lately Wasps have been left flagging behind the Tigers, even coming close to exiting the top division in 2012. However, the move to Coventry looks set to move Wasps back into the higher echelons of the sport with the financial muscle to match.

This intense, exciting game marked the start of a new Midlands derby.

A sold-out crowd watched as the two sides went at each other but this wasn't at Wembley or Twickenham as may have been the venue in the past. This was the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. A derby of this magnitude looks like being one of the fiercest for many years to come.
