Thanks to Chris for sending this over, apologies for the lateness, between illness and work not been around a lor recently!
This week sees round two European competitions and TV coverage is on Premier sports. The Saints are at home at against Bulls and is on Premrugby at 15.15. on Sunday. Sounds as if Bulls are preparing better than previously, arriving in Northampton several days before the game.
There are some Ladies games on either on TNT or YouTube
The RFU championship is now available on ‘Clubber’, here is a link
Trying to sort my sky box for recording this weekendās rugby, and the Premier Sports 1 and 2 listings look to be a mess, and I cannot find our match anywhere. Any ideas please ?
Chris as I understand it Premier Sports package through Sky only includes Prem 1&2 and not premrugby. I am told it can be āstreamedā but not sure what that means and if you can thus record it? I am on Virgin Media and has all three channels listed
You may be able to do something through Prime Video but may have to pay again?
Sans Culottes Thanks Chris. If thatās the case I think Iāve been miss-sold. Research needed. Will post results of investigation.
Not missold, but misled by the incomplete advertising. I can't record it , but will be able to view their recording of the match via their streaming service, so in the case of this match it's not an issue.
Seems to be a very annoying situation with Premier Sports Rugby. Also trying to watch abroad without access to any 'streaming' service and only Prem 1 & 2. Even the commentators have referred to our game as the pick of the bunch, and yet it seems to be the only game this weekend not available on their main channels. I feel a stiff email coming on.
Any chance there might be a red button option? Seems the last hope!
channel guide listed two games being shown on prem 1 and 2 simultaneously without stating whether it was us or the Toulon game on which channel. Recorded them both and Saints game was shown in full on Prem 1 before the Bristol game.
As only 2 games were listed as being played with 1515 kos, so unless they were showing the same game on both
channels, made sense that our game wud be on one of the two.
Where I was Prem 1 was showing the Hearts vs Celtic football. So I ended up paying for a month of FloRugby and using a VPN to pretend to be in the US. Not ideal, but a good stream and I'm glad I got to see the game. Let's just say Premier Sports have declined somewhat in by estimation! Not just for the lack of coverage but for a complete absence of information too.
