By The Saints With Big Hearts

The End in South Bridge tonight saw the closing of the Saints With Heart III fundraising, with a gala night to draw the winners of the signed shirts for each club.

There was also a raffle, with a number of prizes.  The main news, however, was the announcement of a first pledged total of £20,007 at the end of the evening - this without further money from walkers still to be accounted for.

The shirt winners for each club were:-

Saints - Rushden Trev

There were also two auctions on the evening, a referee's shirt signed by 12 of the 14 elite referees being won by Vanessa Kinsey for £100, and a Saints ball signed by the four World Cup winners being won by Dave Wilton for £325.  Thanks to Ashley Rowden and Peter Robertson for donating the items.

The main raffle prizes were won as follows:-

Chris Budgen's signed match worn shirt - Yellow 69, Clare Garner

Two tickets for England v Canada - Yellow 324, AB

Leicester v BaaBaas tickets - Yellow 249, Maggie Barwell (after Lom drew her own number out!)

Other prizes were won by Dave Wilton, Peter Kennedy, Phil Hollis, Stella from the SSC, and two people that I didn't catch the names of.

We now need to get the money.  Details will follow of an address to send all donations to, but be proud this evening people, you've done a great job.
