1. Find the article you want to link to
2. In your browser highlight the URL (address) of that page
3. Click EDIT > COPY to copy the URL into your PC memory
4. Return to COYSDC message board
(5. Be grateful for returning to a place of sanity and wisdom)
6. Select the NEW TOPIC or REPLY TO MESSAGE option
7. Type in your words of opinion etc. At the point where you want the link to appear
8. Hit the ADD A LINK function. the following will be inserted in your message with [ ] square brackets on either side
Your link text
9. Now some editing is required...
10. Replace the http://your-link.com
section with the URL previously copied. I normally do it by highlighting that section and clicking EDIT > PASTE to recover the previously saved URL. Be careful not to overwrite the ""
11. Replace the Your link text section with a witty few words to describe your link. Be careful not to overwrite the "[" or the ""
12. Before Step 13, make sure all square brackets are still in place where they should be! (this is the commonest error!!)
13. Click POST to see your efforts displayed for humanity and feel proud!
