Wasps will kick off their 2019/20 Gallagher Premiership campaign this October by hosting newly-promoted London Irish on Sunday 20 October (kick-off 3pm).

The Gallagher Premiership fixtures have been confirmed for the new 2019/20 season, which will see all 12 teams compete in a four-game block to kick off the new campaign, after a late start to the season due to the Rugby World Cup in Japan (September 20-November 2).

Wasps’ first game will be a tough one, as recently-promoted Irish have made significant investments over the summer with the signings of stars such as Australia’s Adam Coleman, Sekope Kepu, Nick Phipps and Curtis Rona, along with All Black winger Waisake Naholo and Ireland flanker Sean O’Brien.

But with some new blood set to be in Wasps’ ranks with All Blacks Malakai Fekitoa and Jeff Toomaga-Allen, and the likes of Ben Vellacott, Zach Kibirige and Paolo Odogwu available for the new campaign, it’s going to be a mouthwatering opener at The Ricoh.

Wasps’ first awayday will follow at Gloucester Rugby before hosting Bath Rugby and travelling to Sale Sharks to complete the first four-game block.

European matches will then sandwich a sole Premiership away game with last year’s table-toppers Exeter Chiefs on Saturday 30 November (kick-off 3pm).

The Christmas period will see three crucial clashes, starting with a home game against Harlequins on Saturday 21 December (kick-off 3pm) before a trip to Ashton Gate to face Bristol Bears and another home game against local rivals Northampton Saints on Sunday 5 January to kick off 2020.

A single league fixture at neighbours Worcester Warriors on Saturday 25 January will be surrounded by more European and Premiership Rugby Cup fixtures, before Round 10 of the Premiership sees us travel to Leicester Tigers on Saturday 15 February ahead of a packed few months of action.

February also sees us host champions Saracens as well as a trip to Irish, while March provides two home games against Gloucester and Worcester alongside a visit to Franklin’s Gardens to battle the Saints.

In April we will host the Sharks followed by away games at Bath and Saracens before two belting home games against Leicester and Bristol in May.

The final two rounds will witness us on the road at Quins to end May, while hosting Exeter on the last day of the regular season as the Black and Golds look to finish the regular season in style.

The best way to enjoy all the Wasps home action is to buy a Season Membership, which start from as little as £200 for Adults and are FREE for Under 10s in certain areas of the ground. Call 02476 786411 or click the link below to book or find out more.
