It was undoubtedly the best day in Leeds Tykes' history. Bringing home the Powergen Cup has put a real positive vibe into the Tykes fans' hearts. Twickenham was a day I'll never forget, and there are several fans who have sent in their memories too. Here's a selection...

Mike Shelley and a very happy Phillipa!

"After such a spectacular performance I must thank the team for making the day even more memorable for my daughter by gladly signing autographs, having pictures taken and talking with my fellow fans, thanking us for coming etc. Such a bunch of happy faces, long may it continue.

"Mr. Shelley, you made Phillipa's day when you posed for a photo. Thank you xx"

"My Memories of the day was my lad being the Powergen mascot and coming out with Iain Balshaw at the start of the game, and before the match going into the Leeds Tykes dressing room which was great. And of course shouting constantly 'COME ON LEEDS' and my lad telling me 'Dad be quiet you're drunk' the whole game. Oh, and of enjoying the company of the Bath fans in Richmond on the Saturday evening. No trouble, No hassle, No worries, how it should be always!"

"My main memory of the day was when Phil Davies brought the cup upstairs into the Spirit of Rugby where we were having tea and handed it to me when his phone rang! It was a really touching moment which showed just what a tight knit club we really are and what a great community spirit we have at the club among the players, supporters, staff etc. Its very special."

"What a game Diego had! Balsh off after two minutes, Biggsy to full-back and Diego on, no problem!

"In a memorable match with many highlights, one I will particularly remember. Midway through the second half, Zak Fea'unati, (all 19 stone of him,) at speed up the wing and it's Albanese, (the smallest guy on the field,) going for him. Suicide or what?

"Zak was chopped down, spilled the ball and the Tykes counter-attacked, with Diego in full support! It took a while for Zak to regain his feet, wondering just what hit him?

A moment of sheer brilliance, in an afternoon full of them."

"Took this photo with my phone at full time. It's my friend Jon who I went with to the game. What a game too! The best memories for me were the supporters and the atmosphere surrounding the whole day. The buzz from walking around the ground and in the beer tent before kick-off, to the game itself and then the celebrations were awesome. Have to also mention the team, all of them were heroes and deserved to win it showing such determination and skills. Hopefully they can carry this on for the rest of the season. Would like to pass on my thanks and congratulations to all at the club."
