Sheridan & Sackey: We’ll let others judge us
The Sale Sharks prop also revealed that he’s not concerned what conclusions others have come to, saying,

Andrew Sheridan, England - Investec Challenge 2007 - England v France - Twickenham
“If some people have written us off on our recent results it’s not something that we get too upset about.
“People are welcome to judge us,” he invited. “All we can do is go about our business, work hard in training and try to produce the performances when it matters. It’s not for us to talk ourselves up, how good we are is for other people to judge.
“World Cups don’t come along very often. You never know how many times you’ll get to play in one so you just have to make the most of it.”
And although England team mate Paul Sackey may be considerably lighter in weight than Sheridan, the London Wasps wing added his backing.
Shrugging off the underdog label given to him and the rest of the England squad, he said

“everyone might be talking about the All Blacks but at the end of the day any team is beatable. Sometimes it just comes down to the bounce of the ball.”
