VIDEO STORY: The Future of Rugby Comes to Twickenham – featuring Danny Cipriani

Twickenham is used to hosting members of the sporting elite, and competitors in a nationwide grassroots rugby tournament can now say that they have also stepped onto the famous turf.

The winners and runners up from the Land Rover Cup , all from the under 11 and under 12 age groups , felt the cheers of the crowd in their ears as they took part in a ‘parade of champions’ at this years Guinness Premiership Final.

To get there, the teams had taken part in a series of 12 Land Rover Cup festivals which took place up and down the country this season. Each tournament was run in conjunction with the relevant Premiership Club in that area.

As this video shows, they also got the chance to meet one of their heroes, London Wasps star Danny Cipriani – a man who isn’t that much older than they are!
