Unofficial England Rugby - July 2004 in review. Not a great deal going on this month however, the Rugby Football Union did make some important announcements re ticket allocation and the re-development of Twickenham.

July 2004 - In Review!

A quiet month July, apart from the rain!!!!  Not much happening around and about on the England scene.  

However, the RFU did make some important announcements regarding their new ticket initiatives and also extra allocations for Twickenham locals, plus an update on the re-development of Twickenham stadium.

The RFU Council has approved a series of match ticket initiatives at its meeting on July 10th, 2004, aimed at improving its match ticket allocation, distribution and systems, full article here....England-NEW Ticket Policy.

The RFU have listened to what the locals have said and scaled down the original plan for the redevelopment of the stadium. At present Twickenham residents receive 50 England tickets per match however, more are on the way to them full article here..EnglandTickets for Locals
