Can't we ask to flip the home and away fixtures?

Flights to Paris booked!

Don't understand what people are moaning about. Clermont two years ago, Bordeaux last year (to watch saints whilst we were in SA) and Paris this year! As a bit of a francophile, it's joyous.

Agree. Never had a bad trip to France. Toulouse this year was brilliant, result aside. Looking forward to Paris again. Been a while since we played Stade over there.

Just to reiterate the message put out by the club, in case people here have missed it:

With the venue for our clash with Racing still TBC – fans are encouraged not to make travel plans until this is confirmed.

So to state the obvious, it's not definitely gonna be played at La Défense Arena (also now called Plenitude Arena)

So what with Racing it could be "La Defense", that little stadium on the outskirts they used during the Olympics or maybe Lille???? The latter works well with Eurostar as well doesn't it??.

Can't help thinking with only game with each opposition that there should be a rule that you don't head to SA two seasons in a row in the group stages. Yes appreciate that SA teams do it twice every year but they are set up for it with huge squads and bases in Europe for the URC.

Racing will be leaving La Défense Arena "at the end of 2026". In 2027, they will be playing in Colombes (not far from La Défense), but they have already played some games in Stade Dominique Duvauchelle in Créteil (south-east-ish Paris). Apparently Exeter played there at the start of the season just gone.

Isn’t Colombes the stadium from Escape To Victory?

Plenitude is different to La Defense but at the same site. Plenitude is the amazing indoor arena they sometimes play at.

The advice from the club is bit rubbish. You can get around Paris at ease, so it doesn't matter where they play. We got our flights for £80 and they are now over £130. The club are probably wanting to push their own packages to fans.

yes and no. It was set there but actually they filmed it in Hungary. The stadium was used in the 1938 football world cup and Olympics in 1924 and 2024 (for Hockey).

And last year they went to Le Havre...

But that says Sept/Oct not January

True but given that it's looking at least possible thry won't be at La Defense not unreasonable to note where they have been playing. Lille and we can all get off the Eurostar a stop early. Le Havee and I doubt many of us are going

Well, it’s either a weekend in Paris watching us live or a weekend in Paris watching us on the tv. Either way, I’ll be in Paris! 🇫🇷

Nice. Do you think Bristol Sport will create a ticketing link so we all sit in the same general area or leave it to us? (or recommend a place to watch on tv! grinning smiley )

It will likely be at Colombes. It has been redeveloped for them to move into by January. Glos is the last home game at La Defense.

Booked flight to Paris as soon as fixtures went up to save a lot, public transport should be fine in theory. As long as the date isn't moved and it's just location.

Are there any good spots for travelling fans to visit or group?

What they are leaving La Defense for good!? Will it just be used for concerts then?

Edit - I have just looked it up and yes they are leaving. And yes, La defense will Seemingly just be for concerts and non-sporting entertainment from now on.
