The Coventry Rugby team to face Fylde away this Saturday at the Woodlands, kick off 3pm has just been announced.

It shows one enforced change to the starting line up in the victory over Rosslyn Park, with concussion victim Jamie Harrop replaced by new signing flanker Ade Hall. Ade who has been training with Coventry for the past few weeks had spells at Bedworth and Nuneaton. A Coventry lad he has also appeared for the Coventry Nighthawks this season.

There are two other pack changes with Dale Ager and Benji Dechartres starting with Matt Price and Sam Herrington reverting to the replacements. On the replacements Luke Veebel makes his first appearance in place of Will Maisey.

It is nice to see another local lad in Adie Hall making his debut for the club.

so whats the deal with the new flanker, Ade Hall? Has he played for the nighthawks? Anyone know anything about him?

Ade, Adie or Adey played against Oxford Uni and cambridge uni. didnt have chance to speak to him last night but will do a press release later on, as already mentioned has been training regularly with cov .

good luck, this will b ea stern test without myring, tibbatts etc.but the boys have shown alot of commitment, effort & skill so far this season which has been great-lets ge the cov dog barking!

Adie is about 27/28 and comes from Bulkington. He has been playing for Bedworth but before then was a Broadstreet player for 3 years, mainly as a number 8 though he can fill in at flanker and 2nd row when required.

He has good speed picking up off the base of a scrum which earns him some decent yards. The highlight of his Broadstreet career was a 50 metre run off the base of a scrum through the opposition fly-half and gassing the covering fullback to score in National 2 North against Westoe, a brilliant individual try which won us the match in the last play of the game.

His physical ability and skill set has never been what's held him back and he'll be full of confidence after being selected so that should mean he will hold his own at National 1 level.

You know, I think the flank is a great position for a big aggressive local boy to be able to show what he can do.

What a great incentive for him to pull on the famous blue and white shirt. In his place ( I was never good enough ) I would be running through brick walls.
