Coventry Rugby have today announced the team and squad to face Wharfedale here at BPA this Saturday kick off 3pm. The team shows 3 changes from that which started against Blaydon, including one positional. Winger Reuben Haile is out for some weeks with a damaged ankle ligament, sustained in the 1st half against Blaydon, and his 2nd half replacement Jeff Gregson retains his place.

With injury doubts over Seb Pearson, Captain Nick Southern reverts to No8, with Andy Weaver taking his place at lock.

There are 3 changes on the replacements, following knocks to Luke Beales and Jamie Harrop sustained in the Coventry Nighthawks match.

Adam Parkins come in as FR replacement, whilst Matt Tibbatts stands by for Seb Pearson.

Centre Todd Freemantle is recalled from loan at Rugby Lions for his 1^st team squad debut.

How do the coaches select players that are not training with the squad through the week, e.g. the Northampton props ? The captain has had a blitz on defensive tactics, as he has stated on his post. ALL the squad should have been made aware of the points he has made and taken on the message that the "defensive leaks" are for them to rectify.
The supporters will be expecting a much tighter defence this week as Wharfedale will surely be looking to take advantage of any lack of discipline!

They trained with Cov this week, both Tuesday and Thursday. Its safe to say they are aware... and a bit daft to assume that they didnt.
