Warrior sent to defend Coventry Rugby...

Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce the signing of Worcester Warriors Academy prop forward  Ryan Furniss on a dual registered  loan for the coming season. Born in Wordsley, near Stourbridge Ryan aged 18, has just started his second season with Worcester Warriors Academy, after being a member of the mini and junior section for many years.

 

Able to play on either side of the scrum Ryan has recently been part of the Worcester Warriors squad that has faced Cardiff Blues and Plymouth Albion in their own pre-season games, as well as playing for Coventry in the recent pre- season game against Bedwas. A mobile prop forward preferring a free flowing game Ryan is looking forward to more game time and assisting Coventry Rugby in their own aspirations this season.
