Head coach Scott Morgan called Coventry’s performance ‘refreshing’ after beating Tynedale 64-12 to record their first win in four games.
Cov ran in a total of ten tries, taking them past the 100 mark for the season, for their 20th win of the campaign – their best in five years in National League One and setting them up for a tough finish which sees them play the other four top five sides.
“After the last four weeks it was just about ourselves today, getting back to the basics and building a performance, and I think we did that,” said Morgan.
