We moved back joint top of the engage Super League XII with a brilliant 52-10 away win at injury-hit Warrington. Great Britain centre Keith Senior secured the 200th try of his career. Clinton Toopi paid the price for last weeks performance against Wigan Warriors at Headingley by being put on to the bench. Lee Smith replaced Ali Lauitiiti in the seventeen and was straight in on the wing with Ashley Gibson moved in to replace Toopi in the centre position. It looked like it was going to be a hard evening against Warrington as Ben Westwood started the scoring with a try, but  we were back on in the game shortly before the half hour mark as Gareth Ellis stepped through a tackle and accepted a perfect pass from Kevin Sinfield after a forced goal line drop out to touch down and skipper Kevin Sinfield added the extra 2 points up for grabs. Just 5 minutes later Clinton Toopi surged over the line with his first touch of the ball after a touch of magic from Danny McGuire. Sinfield converted  but  with a 6 point deficit Warrington reduced the lead to two points as Brent Grose powered over just five minutes later. Just before half time Senior broke from inside his own half, passed inside who passed back inside once again for Donald to score. Sinfield converted for an 18-10 half time lead. After creating the try before half time Senior had a stroke of luck after a McGuire pass sent him under the posts. Just under 5 minutes later and Robbie Burrow read a McGuire grubber kick on the last which sent him over the whitewash. Sinfield once again converted making the score 10-30 to Leeds just 10 minutes after the half time hooter. Thackray spun out of two tackles before grounding the ball and with Sinny’s conversion, we were running riot at the Halliwell Jones stadium leading 36-10. Warrington fans were exiting the stadium with over 15 minutes still on the imaginary clock as we had forced yet another goal line drop out. Diskin sent a short ball over to full back Brent Webb who scored the 8^th try for the Leeds. Kevin Sinfield’s 100% record continued and sent us 42-10. Lee Smith collected a loose ball on 70 minutes after it was knocked back frantically by a Wolves player who then passed to Ellis who sent the ball over to Danny McGuire to score. Sinfield missed the goal attempt. With just under 5 minutes to go, we scored the best try of the night – McGuire sent the ball over the top as Burrow raced to the in goal area to touch down for Leeds. An easy day at the office?
