With so many rumours surrounding next season, where will London Welsh find themselves come September, both on and off the pitch?
Once again rumours abound as to where the 1st XV will call home next season, with still two years left on a contract to stay at the Kassam, this remains a strong option, together with a return to ODP a favoured option for the Richmond faithful. However with rumours of indecision amongst the Board, further options are not to be discounted.
Concerns amongst the fans have been further ignited with the announcement of the departure of CEO Mike Stevens , together with rumours of possible redundancies amongst the remaining staff.
However London Welsh are a resilient club, with a strong history and a hardcore of very loyal fans and this isn't the first time the club has found itself having to make important decisions regarding it's future and one thing for sure is that those making those decisions will have the best interests of the club at heart.
On the plus side there are rumours of potential new backers coming on board and most importantly on the field a strong coaching and playing staff is already in place ready to go into pre-season next week.
Whilst next season looks to be highly competitive with a strong Bristol remaining in the Championship and Yorkshire Carnegie looking to build a strong squad to compete at the top, Welsh have retained a strong core from last seasons squad and also suplemented this with some good signings and so should be up there competing at the very top for a third succesive promotion.
One thing that isn't in doubt is that through thick and thin there has always been a very dedicated band of supporters who will once again be there shouting the team on regardless of whatever happens over the summer.
So good luck to the squad, train hard over the summer and we all look forward to cheering you on next season , wherever that may be.
Come On The Welsh !
