Blues v Scottish proved to be a remarkable game but not the most important event of the weekend. Nevertheless the 49-35 win, which followed massive respect for Queen Elizabeth II, is worthy of recording.

Incredibly both sides scored six tries with Blues looking the part in the first half in front of 2,000 supporters while Scottish came back strongly in the second.

Will Maisey was the man to keep Blues ahead slotting eight of his nine kicks.
