Pirates Sent Packing

Blues completed the double against Cornish Pirates in style. Seven tries summed up a powerful performance as they cemenetd a top four place with a 55-13 win at Goldington Road.

After 13 games Blues are in 4th with 42 points - juts one behind  Coventrry and now eight points clear of fifth place Doncaster.

This win came courtesy of tries from Matt Worley who got two, Uru, Conway, Williams, Adamson and Frost. Maisey and Grimoldby shared the kicking duties.

It was a great start with Worley sent in at the corner in quick succession  courtesy of Tui Uru and Joey Conway.

Maisey didn't miss a kick all afternoon and his skill made it 31– 13 at half time. Pirates fought hard but were successfully repelled as Blues soaked up the pressure to respond with tries of their own.
