Pre-season Cambridge

Friday 21 August Blues faced Cambrige. A good first run out from the Blues who won 76-5 in front of 2,012 supporters.

A win was always expected against Cambrdige who were relegated from the Championship last season, but after a tricky first half where Blues had to defend and also conceeded far too many penalties they ran our comfortable winners in the 2nd half.

Out of the new players Kershaw looked great in attack but needs some high ball practice, Eckersley looked good at 7 running good lines and has a bit of pace, Davies-King was solid in the scrum and Dufficy looked good ball in hand but his kicking needs some improvement, perhaps some nerves,
