Coventry & Mid Warwickshire RFU celebrate 125th anniversary

HAPPY BIRTHDAY... Coventry & Mid Warwickshire RFU celebrate their 125th anniversary this year with another crowded schedule, and Coventry duo Kurt Johnson and Henno Venter attended a photo-call at the Butts Arena where they showed off their impressive collection of trophies. The District embraces 19 clubs including two university teams and Coventry Police RFC. They run under-17, under-19

and senior teams playing against South Warwickshire, Rugby & District and Nuneaton & North while Coventry sides compete in a 2nd XV cup and sevens competition to raise money for injured players.

The committee plans an anniversary dinner and a Day of Rugby and are inaugurating a Vice-Presidents’ Society for former players, officers and committee members.
