EXETER Chiefs have offered to foot Coventry’s transport bill to help ensure that Saturday’s Championship fixture goes ahead.
Tony Rowe, chief executive of the Devon club, confirmed: “We’ve said we will pay their travelling costs if that will help get them down here.
We just want the game to be played and that’s the least we can do to help Coventry.”
Yes its a nice gesture Nige, but the last thing Ex wants is to lose a 9,000 gate, so i can understand why they have done it, never the less it is a great help at this very difficult time
I understand where your coming from covfan but they wont get anywhere near that number, to get half that would be excellent, but a nice guesture just the same, well done to Exeter

Dont knock it, I'm in the middle of trying to organise a whip round for your players too.
I think you will find a way out of this problem, if chiefs can make it easier we will.
You have a great history long may it continue, hope some of you guys are popping down for a visit on sat.
All the best to you all.
