Coventry Rugby are pleased to announce that a further two players from last season have signed on again for this coming season, wing/scrum half Andy Murray and centre Nat McDonald.
Andy Murray starts his second season at the club following his move from Nuneaton RFC. Originally a scrum half, Nuneaton switched him to wing, and on his move to Coventry, Andy has largely started on the wing, having to be drafted in to cover injuries to Tom Harris and Jeff Gregson. A whole hearted and speedy player, Andy scored 4 tries last season from his 20 appearances including 12 as replacement.
Nat McDonald has signed on for his third season with Coventry Rugby. In season 2010/11 Nat made 18 appearances including 2 as replacement and in the process scored 3 tries. Last season Nat started in conjunction with Luke Myring in the centre and made 16 starts plus 1 as replacement. However a serious leg injury midway through the season disrupted his progress. Now back to full fitness Nat will be looking to progress and build on the promise shown in his first season.
