Ins and outs ahead of 2026/27

Likely to retain the current year's squad for next season, Albion will be releasing information on a drip fees basis. We have already seen the good news of luring Iwan and Noah from Exeter and seen a couple of interesting signings. Of particulat importance is to address the shortcomings of last season, ie. the strength in depth in the front row, whilst increasing the penetrative capablilty of the backs. To those that are moving on, thank you for your efforts and good luck. For those arriving, welcome. You don't need good luck wishes because you will be awesome.

Nic Allison
Centre		 Last Season DR/Loan Loaned from Chiefs towards the end of the season, Nic appeared on 5 occasions and claimed 1 try. Prior to joining Albion, Nic played a couple of games for Exeter University.

Shea Cornish
Winger		 Confirmed Re-signing Scoring 10 tries from 14 starts, Shea provided a valuable asset until injury struck forcing him out of the squad for the latter half of the season. This will be his 4th season in his second stint at Albion.

Jon Dawe
Winger		 Suspected Departure Another second season sidelined. Signed for his 10th season last year but injury has badly affected his career. Would not be surprise if he was let go.

Francisco Diaz Dart
Fly Half/Full Back		 Confirmed Re-signing 20 Appearances from the start of the season and 5 tries, First half of the season Frankie held the full back position but moved to the wing until his season was curtailed. Returning for a third season.

Craig Duncan
Winger		 Confirmed Re-signing Limited to 2 appearances off the bench last season. Naval commitments and no longer a first choice for the squad have made it difficult for Craig. Signed on for his 6th season.

Noah Fenton
Wing		 New Signing Loaned from Chiefs last season, Albion have secured his services after he scored 5 tries from 7 appearances towards the end of the season. With Bobby Wiggington on the opposite wing they should provide a lucrative pairing.

Archie Hill
Centre		 Confirmed Re-signing Staying on for his third season at Albion, Archie has made the No 12 shirt his own, with 26 appearances and 4 tries.

George Hillson
Scrum Half/Full Back		 Departed Plymouth born, played for Tavistock and Launceston - departed mid-season

Iwan Jenkins
Fly Half		 New Signing Dual Registered from Exeter Last Season - Iwan has been outstanding during the last campaign and has opted to commit to Albion next season. Another player elected to the NLR team of the season. 23 appearances, 5 tries, 67 conversions and 18 penalties, Albion have done a good job to lure him away from Exeter.

Harrison Legg
Fly Half / Full Back		 Confirmed Re-signing 20 starts and 6 from the bench, Harry has become an feature of the squad. Surprisingly, the first few matches saw him in the no 10 shirt before Iwan made that his own, but eventually settling in as fullback, Harry has shown imressive pace. Only 4 tries and 3 conversions but gives all for the team. Signed on for his 3rd term.

Nick Lilley
Centre		 Last Season DR/Loan The Loanee from Exeter Chiefs made 2 appearancs in the early part of the season.

Jack Oulton
Scrum Half		 Confirmed Re-signing Signing on for his 5th season at Albion, co-captain Jack had another influential season at Brickfields. 25 appearances and 11 tries, combining with Iwan to make a formidable pairing.

Ben Parsons
Winger/Centre		 Confirmed Departure Signed for Taunton Titans for 26/27. No appearances for Albion being loaned to Barnstaple.

Chris Preen
Centre		 New Signing Joining from the Worcester Warriors, Chris will be looking to make his mark after a handful of games at Warriors and Rosslyn Park last season. Will probably play a supporting role to Oscar and Archie.

Ben Raivalita
Winger		 Confirmed Re-signing The Fijian winger made 11 appearances during the season mostly from the bench. Scored one try. Returning for 26/27.

Pita Ratukadreu
Centre / Winger		 Confirmed Re-signing Returns' after an absence an absence of 2 seasons. More recently he has been a part of the Army's 7s side.

Setareki Raumakita
Winger		 Staff Now part of the coaching set up. Seta has announced his testimonial on Aug 1st.

Ben Saunders
Fly Half		 Confirmed Re-signing USA U18 and U20 international. Signed for 2025/26 but spent his time at St Austell on loan where he scored 7 tries. Scored another try for Bill Devon in the Beaumont Senior Mens County Championship. Has signed on for 26/27 and will be looking to make some first team appearances.

Henry Sellick
Full Back		 Confirmed Re-signing In his first season on the Albion books, he was loaned to Barnsatople fot the season where he scored 6 tries in 22 appearances. Will be looking to make appearances for Albion in the upcoming season, but competition will be tough.

Ben Sharpe
Scrum Half		 New Signing One for the future, but opportunity may come knocking if anything should befall Jack or Morgan (or they are given the day off).

Kyle Speare
Winger		 Suspected Departure A return after a season long layoff the previous season was shortlived. Ony one game for Albion and 3 more for Barnstaple. Not mentioned in Albion's 'Pre-season ready' post.

Oscar Stewart
Centre		 Confirmed Re-signing 26 starts last season usuallty at outsiide centre but a couple of occasions on the wing - scored four tries. Signed on for second term.

Morgan Stone
Scrum Half		 Confirmed Re-signing Absent for much of the first half of the season, Morgan featured in 15 games, including 2 and scoring 5 tries. Morgan does have to wait his turn after Jack.

Jack Stratton
Centre		 Confirmed Re-signing A quiet first season for Jack. Injury interruptions meant only 6 appearances this seasons for Albion. Loaned to Redruth where he featured in 5 further games. Now signed for a second season.

Robert Wigginton
Winger		 Confirmed Re-signing Signed on for a fourth term, Bobby was Albion's top try scorer with 18 tries from 26 appearances. Now an automatic choice on the wing

Zack Wimbush
Centre		 Last Season DR/Loan Loaned from Chiefs in two short spells..Zack made 5 appearances scoring one try. Elsewhere he made 5 Chief appearances in the Prem Rugby Cup abd 3 for the Pirates.scoring a further 5 tries.


Forwards
Joe Bailey
Lock		 Last Season DR/Loan Loan from Exeter Chiefs, arriving mid-way through the season. Made 11 appearances for Albion scoring 3 tries. Play a furth 7 Prem Rugby Cup games for the Chiefs and further Champ game for the Pirates.

Corrie Barrett
Prop		 Expected Departure Brought in as cover for the end of last season & playoffs. Oddly ended the season with Blackheath for the Accession Final.

Oscar Beckerleg
Lock		 Last Season DR/Loan Appeared on 14 occasions for Albion, scoring 2 tries. Also made 4 appearances in the Prem Rugby Cup abd another for the Pirates.

Charlie Bell
Back Row		 Last Season DR/Loan Dual Registered from Exeter Chiefs. Came off the bench in the season opener. Wound up playing for Exeter University.

Liam Bishop
Prop		 Confirmed Re-signing Back for a second term, Liam made 23 appearances during the season 10 of which were starts. Unfortunately was injured at the tail end of the season.

Jake Bond
Flanker		 Confirmed Re-signing Jake only made 4 appearances for Albion. He also turned out for Redruth on 12 occasions bagging a hat-trick in their final game. Now signed for a 4th season

Jenson Boughton
Prop		 Confirmed Re-signing In his 3rd season at Albion, Jenson has fully completed the transition from tight head to loosehead. Making 20 starting appearances 18 of which were in the No 1 shirt, he scored on 6 occasions. Unfortunately his season was cut short by injury. Signed on for season 4.

Joel Broadhurst
Lock / Flanker		 Confirmed Re-signing Commiting to a 3rd season, Joel made 26 appearances last year, 24 of which were starts. Seemingly happy as lock or flanker Joel has provided RL with flexibility in the pack. 5 tries credited to his name.

Torin Clarke
Flanker		 Departed Formally departed mid season - Made 3 appearances for Launceston.

Jake Clemson
Lock		 Confirmed Re-signing Jake signs on for a sixth season after what must have been a difficult season with just 10 appearances netting a solitary try. Left frustrated at not being in the mix for the second half of the season.

Harvey Courtis
Prop		 Confirmed Re-signing In his 1st season, Harvey made 10 appearances for Brixham before being recalled to bolster the front row. For Albion he made 1 start and 7 substitute. Named on the bench for 2 other matches but unuesed. Harvey will be looking to becoming a regular in the matchday squad.

Sam Daly
Lock		 New Signing A welcome return for an old crowd favourite, former Albion captain Dan returns for a third stint after a playing career that has most recently taken in CSBJ Rugby, Manly Mar lins & Doncaster.

Morgan Eames
Lock / Flanker		 New Signing Morgan comes to us from the French Pro D2 club Stade Montois who were relegated last season. Previously, Morgan has played for CSBJ Rugby, Bristol Bears (and loaned to Chinnor), AS B ziers H rault, Doncaster, Nottingham. At 6'7" Morgan will be a key element in the line out.

Isaac Godfrey
Prop		 Last Season DR/Loan Borrowed from Exeter University, Isaac made one appearance off the bench and scored a try at Sedgley Park.

Lucas Gulley
Hooker		 Last Season DR/Loan Loaned from the Chiefs, Lucas appeared in 8 matches during the season, scoring 9 tries in the process. Lucas played a further 3 games for the Chiefs in the Prem Rugby Cup..

Jarrard Hayler
Back Row		 New Signing Returning to Albion after ten seasons in the wilderness (Hartpury, Pirates, Redruth, Taunton, Barnstaple).

Angus Hodges
Flanker		 Confirmed Re-signing 24 starts and one appearance off the bench, Angus usually starts as openside flanker, althoujh has popped up as lock & No 8 on a couple of occastions. Scored 3 tries this season. Will be embarking on his 5th campaign with Albion. It will be season 5 for Angus.

James Kenny
Prop		 New Signing More specifically loosehead prop, James brings a wealth of experience have first appeared for Taunton as a placement from the Exeter Academy for the 2017/18 season, although he played for Albion in the last game of that season in the much delayed game against Loughborough. Completing most of the next season with Albion. James then had a brief spells with the Pirates, Coventry, Ospreys before stopping off at Ealing Trailfinders..

Joshua MacAndrew
Hooker / Prop		 Confirmed Re-signing Josh played much of last season for Exeter University, before making two appearancea off the bench, including the play-off game. Also scored a try against Sedgley Park.

Gabriel Mead
Hooker		 Confirmed Departure Moving on to Taunton

Benjamin Moa
No 8		 Confirmed Re-signing Ben signs on for a third season. With 23 starts and 2 from the bench Ben also led the pack with 12 tries. Worthy of a place in the NLR team of the season, Albion have done well to retain his services.

Daniel Pullinger-Ham
Prop		 Confirmed Re-signing In what will be his 12th season with Albion, co-captain Dan continues to be the cornerstone of the team. His 21 appearances were interrupted by injury towards the end of the season. Awarded a place in the NLR team of the season.

Jago Sheppard
Lock		 Suspected Departure Having established himself last season, Jago found himself with 4 start out of 9 appearances before soending the second half of the season at Camborne.making a further 9 appearances and scoring 3 tries. He capped off the season with 2 appearances for Cornwall. Not mentioned in Albion's 'Pre-season ready' post.

Freddie Stephenson
Lock		 Confirmed Departure Moving on to Ealing Trailfinders

Michael Stupple
No 8 / Lock		 Departed No appearances last season, Herbie moved back to Wadebridge and then onto Camborne.

Max Surry
Prop		 New Signing Joining from University side Cardiff Met, Max is a player for the future having played for Scotland U-20. He will have opportunity to show his skills as a much needed backup for the front row.

Huw Taylor
Flanker		 Confirmed Re-signing Signed towards the end of the season as relief for Jake Clemson an Joe Bailey. Huw has had a nomadic career starting at Worcester Warriors, with stints in the US & Australia. From 9 Starts with Albion Huw has scored 4 tries. He has decided to stay with and signed for the upcoming season.

Harry Wilkinson
Hooker		 Confirmed Re-signing Harry commits to a 6th season at Albion. Last season saw 19 starts out of 25 appearances, .10 tries. Missed one conversion!(?). Pressed into service as a prop at the end of the season.

Rhys Williams
Hooker		 Confirmed Re-signing A patchy season for Rhys with 9 starts and 5 sub appearances throughout the season. Fortunately was available at the end of the season. A valuable asset for the upcoming season.
