Several Shoguns' U21s will be on international duty this weekend. There are 4 players named in the England U21 squad and Academy winger Will Kershaw Naylor is named in the Welsh squad who face Italy. ENGLAND U21s

Four of the current Bristol Shoguns U21s squad have been named in the England U21 squad to play their French counterparts in the opening Six Nations fixture at Newbury RFC on Friday 14th February, 2003, kick off 7.30pm.

The Shoguns U21s captain Matt Styles who made his first team debut against Rotherham in the Powergen Cup is joined in the forwards by prop/ hooker Chris Rowland, who has been a regular in the Zurich Premiership side’s first team squad this season.

In the backs, both James Bailey (wing) and Paul Hodgson (scrum-half) are named. Bailey has been in great try scoring form for both the U21s and the United team and Hodgson has regularly been involved with the first team squad.

Across the border, Will Kershaw-Naylor is named in the Wales U21 squad having made a successful start to his representative career in the Wales Sevens squad prior to Christmas. The biggest name in the Wales squad is probably Gavin Henson who Bristol supporters will remember from the Heineken Cup games with Swansea this season.
