With just two teams left to keep an eye upon in Europe and just one week before Sarries take on Bath in the second Challenge Cup Semi Final, Eurowatch returns to give Sarries (and Bath) fans the low-down on the form of ASM and the Dragons. On Friday night at Rodney Parade, the Dragons and s Leinster side minus Ireland and Lions captain Brian O'Dricsoll served up a ton of entertainment, but in spite of a try from hooker Steve Jones and two for prop Adam Black, they just missed out 23-22 to the Irish province.

Wales international fly half Ceri Sweeney converted one try and added a penalty, with replacement Aled Thomas also kicking a conversion.

The Dragons are now ninth in the Magners League, with 35 points from their 16 games, five behind outgoing European champions Munster, who have played one game more.

Forner Saracens man and incumbent Dragons coach Paul Turner told the BBC that he is worried about the lack of depth in his squad, saying that the Dragons "could do with a core of five or six more hard men." Turner,though, should have Wales fullback and Dragons captain Kevin Morgan back after missing Friday night's home defeat.

Over in France, the artistes formerly known at Montferrand, who started the game second in the table, took an early lead at Stade Toulousain on Sunday as France 7s wing Julien Malzieu crossed for a try after just three minutes. The Top 14's leading poins scorer Brock James converted to give Les Jaunes a 7-0 advantage in La Ville Rose, but that was all the scoreboard opearator at Stade Municipal had to worry about as the home side ran out easy 24-7 winners in front of 36,000 spectators, with Toulouse's tries coming from Cedric Heymans and a brace from Jean-Baptiste Ellisalde.

ASM remain in second place, six points behind leaders Stade Francais Paris and four ahead of Perpignan in third. Toulouse climb into the final playoff place in fourth, leapfrogging Biarritz in the process.

The ASM v Dragons game will be at Parc des Sports Marcel Michelin on Saturday, kick off is at 12.30pm and the game is live on Sky Sports 3.
