Better late than never, here is the end of season poll for 2014. We looked at using surveymonkey but the cost is too high so instead here is the Poll, long hand as usual. Please send your replies to unofish@hotmail.co.uk by Monday 14th July. We will collate them and publish over the summer. You can submit nominations for as few or as many categories as you like. Thanks in advance for taking part.  

PART ONE

 1. Saracens Player of the Year (2013 Steve Borthwick) Lots of contenders here – select your favourite.

2. Saracens Young Player of the Year (2013 Will Fraser) again lots of options, someone who is an established player already like Billy Vunipola, someone pushing hard for a place like Ben Ransom or a real youngster like Mario Itoje or Nathan Earle?

3. Saracens Old Player of the Year (2013 Carlos Nieto) Will it beNeil de Kock, Charlie Hodgson, Matt Stevens, Steve Borthwick or maybe someone else?

4.Aviva Premiership Player of the Year (non-Sarries) (2013 Christian Wade). Plenty of choice here – Mike Brown, Danny Cipriani, Chris Pennell, Joe Launchbury, Luther Burrell etc etc

5. International Player of the Year – must play outside Aviva Premiership (2013 George North). Jonny maybe or Steffan Armitage or maybe someone down under like Julian Savea? Plenty to choose from.

6.Favourite Saracens Player (2013 Will Fraser). Who do you like to watch week in, week out? Schalk Brits maybe or Bosch’s big boot or someone else?

7.Best Performance by an opposition player against Saracens? (2013 Jonny Wilkinson). Perhaps Jonny again or Steffan Armitage or someone else?

8.The Albenese award for the worst performance by an opposition player against Saracens (2013 Edinburgh Rugby). Dare I suggest Graham Hughes !!!!!!

9. The Martin Johnson Memorial Least favourite Opposition Player (2013 Dylan Hartley) Who do you love to hate then? 

10.Player you would most like to join Saracens next Season (2013 Sergio Parisse) So who would you love to see at Allianz next season?

PART TWO

Aviva Premiership XV 2014

1. Best Performance by a Saracens Team (2013 Saracens v Ulster Rugby) Hard to top Clermont I would have thought but could it be Ulster again?

2. Worst Performance By a Saracens Team (2013 Saracens v Northampton AP Semi Final ) Not too many to choose from but there were a couple of bad days at the office.

3. Favourite Club to Visit for an away game (2013 ) Exeter yet again or maybe somewhere like Connacht this time?

4. Least favourite Club to visit for an away game (2013 London Welsh ) Up until last year it was Gloucester, or will it be somewhere further west?

5. Best Opposition Fans (2013 Toulon) The French fans have won for the last 2 years, will it be a Gallic hat trick?

6. Worst Opposition Fans (2013 Northampton Saints) So who have we really loved to hate this year? Our friends up the road or maybe someone else?

7. Favourite other AP Team (not Saracens) (2013 Exeter Chiefs) Exeter again have won this for the past couple of years but will it change this year?

8. Least favourite other AP team (2013 Northampton Saints) I can think of a couple of possibilities for this one including the winners last year…

9. Best Bar (2013 Allianz Park) So is there still nowhere like home or does someone else do it better?

10. Worst bar (2013 Twickenham) Again. Possible competition here from the Millennium Stadium?

11. Best Food (2013 Allianz) Will you go for the Laverstock Pies of home again or was the catering better somewhere else?

12. Worst Food (2013 Twickenham) Can anywhere challenge HQ for the title?

PART FOUR Miscellaneous

1. Best Sarries Rugby Moment of the season (2013 Opening of Allianz Park) No silverware but there were some good times last season.

2. Worst Sarries Rugby Moment of the Season (2013 loss to Saints AP semifinal) There are a couple of contenders for this. Which hurt the most?

3. Funniest Moment of the Season (2013 Sarrie doing Gagnam Style) maybe Brits “tackle” by Wayne Barnes? Or did something else make you laugh?

4. Best Referee (2013 Greg Garner) Tricky this one, who would be your choice of whistle blower?

5. Worst Referee (2013 Alain Rolland) Can Rolland end his career with the title again? There are a few others I can think of this year both on and off the pitch!

6. Best media Performance by a Rugby Celebrity or Broadcaster (2013 Large & Will Greenwood) Tough to beat these two but maybe someone else impressed you?

7. Worst media Performance by a Rugby Celebrity or Broadcaster (2013 Fatboy & Pieman) We see rather less of Barnes & Morris these days but do they still deserve the title?

8. The Michael Gentleman (Samui Man) Contribution to the Saracens.com message board. (2013 Saracens4Life) Whose contributions do you look forward to reading?
