 Worcester Wanderers Overwhelm Bromyard

From Michael Clarke

Chairman Worcester Wanderers RFC

8 Dec 2002

Wanderers travelled to Bromyard for their eighth league game and came away with a 54 point victory. Bromyard were never in the game and with full back Mark Duffield scoring two tries and centres Joph Young and Chris Allen, together with wingers Tom Muir and Wes Hawkins all taking one apiece, the six tries in the first half sealed the game.

In the second half the Wanderers eased off the pressure and only scored two more tries by No 8 Will Orgee and scrum half Lee Watson.  Despite the quieter second half Bromyard could not manage a score.  Joph Young converted seven of the tries to make the final score Wanderers 54 points and Bromyard nil.
