Tag along and keep fit as well

MOSELEY scrum-half Gareth Taylor is running a Coventry Adult Tag Rugby League at the Butts Park Arena on Wednesdays between May 21 and June 25. Tag rugby is a non-contact version of the game suitable for all ages and abilities, and is seen as an ideal way for rugby players to keep fit during the off-season as well as introducing people to the sport.

"Whether you are the fittest person in your gym, or someone who hasn't played sports since you were in school, tag rugby could be the game for you," said Taylor, who is running the league through his company Pro-Tag.

"No rugby experience is required and the League allows both men and women to enjoy exercising in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

"The league will be split into two pools, one for 'serious taggers' who want a more competitive game and one for 'social taggers' who wish a more fun and enjoyable experience."

Teams will be 7 a-side with 'social taggers' requiring at least one woman on the pitch at all times. Matches will be 40 minutes in duration, beginning at 7pm.

Further details are available from Taylor on 07528 076142 or at garethtaylor@pro-tag.co.uk
