Arthur Brenton named as Captain

Coventry have named second row, Arthur Brenton as Captain for the new season! Phil Maynard is confident in the lock, who Captained Plymouth Albion last season, “Arthur has Captained well at this level before and with all his experience in the top two divisions, he is the right man for the job”.

The 28 year old was delighted to be asked, “I’m looking forward to Captaining another professional club and I believe my experience will serve Coventry well.

I know being an Albion supporter you may not be too concerned re my thoughts - however you have appointed a great captain and leader. Was a great bloke and a big loss to us in Plymouth! Good luck this season!
