This Saturday at BPA, kick off 3pm, sees Coventry meet The Forest of Dean side Cinderford (The Foresters) in their 2nd home game of the season. Cinderford, who finished 12th last season, are coached by ex Gloucester legend Andy Deacon, and have close links with Gloucester Rugby and Hartpury College. They have been buoyed further by recent Gloucester and South Africa legend Jake Boer
signing as player coach.
Coventry's Rugby Director Phil Maynard is expected to renew acquitance with 2 of his previous Bees players, mercurial flyhalf Mark Woodrow, who is still kicking his goals, and exciting centre Kyle Palm. Other players to watch are lock Chris Jones and fast winger Nevarro Codlin. It is expected that Jake Boer will play after his try scoring appearance last week.
Cinderford like Coventry have had a mixed start to the season, losing their 2 away games heavily to Cambridge and Barking, but won last Saturday at home to Macclesfield, in a high scoring match 54-36. Coventry Rugby are delaying their team selection following injuries to Nick Southern and Kurt Johnson.
Another absorbing contest is expected with both sides needing to find consistancy. A fast and furious and indeed high scoring encounter is expected to entertain the BPA faithful.
