Coventry Rugby are delighted to announce the re-signing of 2 wingers from last season bringing their total signings up to 17.

Record equalling Coventry wing, Jeff Gregson has signed on for another season, enabling him to continue on with his partnership with fellow winger Tommy Harris. A scorer of 14 tries in 24   appearances, including 4 in Coventry’s last match against Tynedale, Jeff formed a potent try machine with Tommy Harris. Jeff arrived at Coventry Rugby  last  season  from  Rugby  Lions , and  could  arguably  be seen as the squads most improved player. Jeff found a knack of running from deep in broken play, leaving many of his opponents in his wake, always providing excitement for the supporters. 

Luke Veebel, came to Coventry late in the season from Leicester Academy being dual registered, but has turned out for the Coventry Nighthawks, Warwickshire as well as making 3 appearances for Coventry.  A strong, fast, hard running wing or centre, Luke has now signed on directly for Coventry Rugby.

Boden kicks for Leicester Lions....he should be approached anyway. Very good player

Don't give up your day job, mate!

Signing both Collins and Boden would be good for the team, however. Both excellent players, both experienced, both good captains so can add influence during game.

experience needed in the scrum half, fly half and inside centre positions. Decision making and kicking must be better this time around.

good to see gregson being signed and i thought tommy staying was already announced.. We just need to sort out some of the other key desision making positions in the backs..

Great to see Gregson and Harris both on the wings for us again next season, they not only have pace but both players are both great tacklers as well.
The pack is coming together well, hope we can get a decent kicker signed, we lost so many points through bad kicking .
The team in all is coming along great and with key players like Nash, Herrington, Gregson and Harris signing up again we have the quality to progress up the table again this coming season
Think we could be in for a good season !
