Miller optimistic about his injury and his team's start.

COVENTRY captain Jamie Miller is optimistic the ankle injury that forced him to miss the second half of Saturday’s win at Sedgley Park will not keep him out for very long.
The inspirational No. 8 was replaced by Matt Tibbatts at half time in Cov’s 18-12 victory, a success that was not only their third in four National One matches but also lifted them to fifth in table.
However, it appeared to come at high price as both Miller and Nat McDonald failed to reappear for the second period and several other key players picked up knocks.
Of primary concern is Luke Myring, the inside centre who kicked eight points and also injured his ankle in the act of scoring his first try for the club.
The former Leicester and Northampton midfielder has been a key component in Coventry’s positive start to their campaign and the club hope to have the results of an X-ray available in time for training this evening.
They will also check out the damage done to hooker Matt Price’s knee and McDonald’s rib injury.
Which is why it is important Miller is able to deliver them some good news when he has a scan on his troublesome ankle towards the end of the week.
The 24-year-old is confident the problem will not be too serious. “I’ve had a bit of a niggle with it over the last few weeks and it’s got progressively worse,” he explained.
“I was unable to carry on last weekend and it’s got to the stage where I need to find out what’s wrong with it rather than just trying to manage it.
