Cut-price rugby for Coventry City fans.

COVENTRY City season ticket holders can get cut-price entry at Coventry Rugby Club this weekend.

Cov are having a good season and have just recorded impressive wins over Tynedale and Macclesfield in their last two games.

On Saturday they take on Rosslyn Park at the Butts Park Arena (3pm) looking to build on their current position of fifth in the league, just a point off second-placed Fylde.

And with the Sky Blues away at fellow strugglers Doncaster, the rugby club are offering season ticket holders the chance to watch the game for just £10 instead of the usual £13. Supporters must produce their CCFC season to get the discounted price.

Children aged 16 and under get free admission.

I Agree with you Pjc, a step in the right direction by the club, we need to get as many fans through the gate at the B.P.A as possible
COME ON COV!!!!!!!!

I hope the club looks at a half season ticket. There could be a few takers for that. All revenue streams should be looked at and if viable used. Likewise anyone looking for a venue for parties or such like give the club a chance.

Hopefully everyone realises that i am being ironic!! :-)

In truth i welcome any incentive that brings new supporters to the games, hopefully this will bring a better atmosphere, as sometimes considering there are normally 800plus people there it can be quiet!

What the club REALLY needs is a standing area on the far side of the ground. hopefully this can be developed at some point in the future, as you cant beat standing up at a rugby game, its just that standing at pitch level you dont get a good perspective of the good! :-(

Yes Nige, a cowshed would be good mate, but it must have open air facilities at the back, dont you think ?

Of the luxury, covered, variety that we all benefitted (?) from in the latter days at CR, or the proper balls-in-the-breeze style that us older farts remember?
