The Coventry Rugby team to face Worthing raiders away this Saturday at their Angmering ground kick off 2 pm has just been announced.
There is only one enforced change in the starting line-up that performed so well in beating Blackheath, with Barry Davies out, his place being taken by Will Hurrell from the wing and Ian Clark stepping up to the wing from the replacements bench. There are no changes at all in the pack but on the replacements Chad Thorne comes in for Ignas Darkintis with Greg Evans in for Ian Clark and Will Maisey in for Alex Smit.
That's a pretty strong looking team.
Not sure I understand why Liam Munroe has disappeared off the sheet. Has he fallen out of favour or is he injured? To my way of thinking, he had two extremely strong games against Henley Hawks and against Old Albanian.
Nevertheless, get to 'em, get a four try bonus point, and get the four points for a win. Come on Cov!
Just a quick question.. I know I've seen his name recently, but Alex smit isn't listed as a squad member. What position does he play , and where did he come from?
Young South African scrum half / outside back from Wellingborough who joined Cov in the summer from Bedford Academy. Has been out at Briadstreet. Played for Cov on the Weksh preseason weekend.
barry davies will be a big miss, he has a strong left boot and a good pass. weather looks as if it will be poor on the south coast-wet & v windy.work hard , concentrate and cov should win comfortably but nothing shud be taken for granted.
com on cov.
