As the new season draws ever closer Dragons' Den brings you a round-up of the signings, re-signings and loan players for 2010/11. Off the pitch changes have also been made with Phil Greening stepping up to take over as Head Coach after Danny Wilson's sudden departure to Dragons. But with 16 players retained, five new signings and one all-but confirmed, more announcements must be on the way.

Matt Corker Aled Thomas Errie Claassens Paul Mackey Paul Sampson Dom Shabbo Simon Whatling Gordon Ross Rob Lewis Nick Runciman Michael Holford Lorne Ward Mike Powell Michael Hills Lee Beach Jon Mills (Capt)
New Signings

John Mills has been appointed captain according to official site so one must assume he has resigned
In addition to the new players officially announced I think there could well be some more not yet officially announced.
The official site has news of three new signings;
Ben Russell (back-row), ex-Saracens, Racing Metro and England 7s, from Marseille
Martin Purdy (lock), ex-Wasps, North Harbour and Cambridge Blue, from L'Aquila
Liam Gibson (winger), from Plymouth Albion, also England 7s.
adge1 Max Lahiff (prop) joins on season long loan from London Irish. He was at Rosslyn Park last season.
Max played in our play-off match away to Nottingham towards the end of last season and did well.
After the game I tried to find out who he was but the other players didn't know his name or where he came from. Hopefully a full season with us will give them time to learn who he is!
Saul Nelson will do great for you guys, I think its only early injuries that lost him the place at chiefs unluckily for him the other players played well also.
All the best LW, I know you beat us, but I will miss my visits to Old Deer park.

"COME ON EXE!"
London Welsh Head Coach Phil Greening is delighted to get the signature of American Eagle prop Shawn Pittman.
Pittman, 22 years old and 6'4", has played for the USA six times including the recent Churchill Cup, and comes to Old Deer Park from Bayfield Sharks. He also represented the USA at Under 19 and Under 20 level.
Shawn goes into full training with the squad at the London Welsh Westminster ground, and further strengthens Greenings squad for the forthcoming season. The squad departs for a weeks intensive training with the Royal Marines this weekend.
