John Mills has been appointed captain according to official site so one must assume he has resigned
In addition to the new players officially announced I think there could well be some more not yet officially announced.

The official site has news of three new signings;
Ben Russell (back-row), ex-Saracens, Racing Metro and England 7s, from Marseille
Martin Purdy (lock), ex-Wasps, North Harbour and Cambridge Blue, from L'Aquila
Liam Gibson (winger), from Plymouth Albion, also England 7s.

Welcome all three of you!

Max played in our play-off match away to Nottingham towards the end of last season and did well.

After the game I tried to find out who he was but the other players didn't know his name or where he came from. Hopefully a full season with us will give them time to learn who he is!

Saul Nelson, from the Chiefs (Exeter not Waikato).
It's on the official site.
We've got ourselves another hooker.

"Saul scored the only Exeter try last season when London Welsh beat the Chiefs 12-10 in the thrilling encounter at Old Deer Park in January"

He scored the only Exeter try in the first half. The only Exeter try from a rolling maul. The only Exeter try not scored by the backs.

Can't wait for the new season - is pedantry just a summer sport?

Saul Nelson will do great for you guys, I think its only early injuries that lost him the place at chiefs unluckily for him the other players played well also.
All the best LW, I know you beat us, but I will miss my visits to Old Deer park.
