Oldest Hat Trickert

By Blues Brother

It may not have been the best season [understatement a speciality] but there's no reason why we shouldn't have a few beers after this weekend's game against struggling Jersey.

After last week's tryfest against Pirates all we want to know is ......... can Paulo Tupai beat his record as the oldest hat trick scorer by one week?

The club is advervtising on the radio, and putting  a marquee up for as post game party, so we can celebrate the retirement of Sacha Harding and Brendan Burke who have been part of the fixtures and fittings for the past decade.

There'll  be discounted tickets available so all in all it should be a good day.

Harding will skipper the side on his 200th and last appearance for the club and Burke will also start in a side which will have nine changes.

Harry Peck and Jake Sharp will be at half  back with Ollie Dodge on the leftt wing. Paul Tupai gives his 39 year old legs a rest after his hat trick last weekend.

Blues: 15. James Pritchard, 14. Pat Tapley, 13. Brendan Burke, 12. Michael Le Bourgeois, 11. Ollie Dodge, 10. Jake Sharp, 9. Harry Peck, 1. Darren Fearn, 2. Charlie Clare, 3. Phil Boulton, 4. Mike Howard, 5. Harry Wells, 6. Gregor Gillanders, 7. Sacha Harding (c), 8. Don Barrell

Reps  TJ Harris, Nico Steenkamp,  Tomas Gilardon-Paz,  Paul Tupai,  Joe Vandermolen,  Darryl Veenendaal,  Corey Hircock.
