Jake Sharp

A last gasp try from Jake Sharp was the perfect end to a tough game against a Doncaster side who were fighting for their league lives ...

The Blues were chasing the game for most of the 80 minutes and were 29-28 down as the clock ticked down. But  Knights knocked on in their own 22 to give Sharp the opportunity to go over for his second try.

It was a tremendous fightback after being 23-9 down at half time in  a game influenced by the elements.

In fact with three quarters of the game we were 17 behind and wasted several chances before we scored our first when  Pritchard sent  Tapley in.

We gotv fresh legs with five replacemengts all coming on in the shape of Tom Williams, Phil Boulton, Harry Wells, Joe Vandermolen and Steffan Jones.

Our second try quickly followed  when Dean Adamson went over in the corner with Pritchard’s conversion wide.

A minute later we went into the lead when  the ball was whipped out for Sharp to worm his way over. Knights got a penalty to set up that nail biting finish - tough on them but the Blues bandwagon rolls on.
